Sem Government members kick off 40th Thanksgiving Basket Project

Members of last year's Thanksgiving Project stand on the Swetland Hall steps with some of the food they collected. From left, front row: Jeffrey Kratz, Neil O’Donnell, Derek Kopen. Second row: Kevin Boyle, P.J. Kachmar, Greg Barber.

Thanksgiving will be a more festive holiday for several local families, thanks to the Wyoming Seminary Government's Thanksgiving Basket Project for 2007.

Celebrating its 40th year, Sem's Thanksgiving Basket Project relies on donations from the Wyoming Seminary community to provide hearty meals to as many as 15 needy families.

How can you help? Please consider a monetary or non-perishable food donation to this cause. Checks should be made payable to Wyoming Seminary, and donations and checks may be sent to the school in care of:

Wyoming Seminary Government
201 N. Sprague Avenue
Kingston, PA 18704-3593

If you have any questions regarding the project or donations, please contact Ms. Jennifer Petroski, Government Advisor, at jpetroski@wyomingseminary.org or 570-270-2115.
