Harvey Named Runner-Up in Statewide Outstanding Young Woman Competition

Bryn Harvey, a senior at Wyoming Seminary Upper School, was named Third Runner-Up in the tenth annual Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Young Woman, Inc. competition, held November 24 at Kutztown High School.           

Harvey, representing Luzerne County, presented a vocal performance as well as an aerobics and fitness routine and answered an impromptu question during the Presence and Presentation portion of the competition.           

The Outstanding Young Woman Scholarship Program is in its tenth year of recognizing high school senior girls. The program’s contest winners receive cash scholarships, and various Pennsylvania colleges and universities award tuition scholarships.
