Hornung wins Spelling Bee at Lower School

Ben Hornung, a sixth-grade student at Wyoming Seminary Lower School, survived seven rounds of competition to win the school’s annual spelling bee. Hornung, son of Mr. John and Dr. Claire Hornung, correctly spelled the word “amiable” to claim first place. Runner-up was eighth grader Adithya Pugazhendhi, son of Dr. Pugazhendhi Vijayaraman and Dr. Vasanthi Pugazhendhi. Cassandra Ouellette, an English and French teacher at Lower School, served as moderator.
