Wyoming Seminary graduates recently returned to the Upper School campus to participate in a College Panel, sharing their college experiences with current students.  Moderated by Director of College Guidance Karen Mason, the 11-member panel gave students information on how to search for a college, how to balance academics with extracurricular activities, and how to adjust to the rigors of college. Panelists came from a wide variety of schools, ranging from Ivy League colleges and universities to small liberal arts institutions and large state universities. Students in the audience were given the opportunity to ask the panelists questions ranging from how to make the transition to college life to how to organize their time while at college. “Hearing stories from recent Seminary graduates about the transition to college reassures our students that Sem’s challenging and disciplined academic environment equips them well for the next step in their educational journey,” said Mason.
