Wyoming Seminary Upper and Lower Schools Schedule Visitation Day

Students in pre-kindergarten through grade 11 and their families who are interested in learning more about Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School are invited to attend the fall Visitation Day, to be held on Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 8 at both the Lower School campus in Forty Fort and the Upper School campus in Kingston.
At Lower School, Visitation Day will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. Visiting students are invited to experience a typical day at Lower School by shadowing a student in his/her current grade level and joining with other students for lunch. Parent tours of Lower School will be available. Parents also may schedule a screening test for early admission consideration for the 2008-09 school year on Visitation Day. Reservations at Lower School are requested by Friday, Oct. 5. Please call Heidi Sims, Associate Director of Lower School Admission, at (570) 718-6610 for more information and reservations.
At Upper School, the Visitation Day program will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Stettler Learning Resources Center, North Sprague Avenue, Kingston. Visiting students will attend classes and eat lunch with current students. Parents may tour the campus and attend presentations until 11:00 a.m. Presentations will cover the admission process and financial aid, college guidance, academics, extracurricular programs, athletics, boarding life and performing arts. Visitation Day activities will end at 2:45 p.m. Admission interviews will be given upon request.

Wyoming Seminary is an independent, coeducational day and boarding college preparatory school located in northeastern Pennsylvania. It enrolls about 810 students in preschool through grade 12, as well as a postgraduate year.
