Athletic Training

Wyoming Seminary's Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) strive to establish trusting relationships with student-athletes, coaches, parents and the medical community. These relationships depend on effective communication between all parties involved, as well as a commitment to do what is best for the student-athletes.

Among the services provided by Sem's Athletic Training team are athletic training coverage for home sporting events; immediate care and management of injuries resulting from physical activity; coordination of follow-up medical care when necessary; planning and implementation of rehabilitation programs; and determination of return-to-play status in conjunction with the treating physician and the school's Return to Play Policy.

Complete care of Sem student-athletes is under the supervision of Pediatric Associates of Kingston. Our expert staff employs preventive measures, including bracing, taping and the use of protective equipment, to reduce the likelihood of injuries during play. In the unfortunate event of an injury, our team swiftly and safely plans next steps to get student-athletes back in action as soon as possible.

Student-athletes are treated with exceptional care under the guidance of Lisa Mozeleski, Director of Athletic Training Services, who joined Sem in 1999 and holds degrees from Otterbein College (BA, Sports Medicine) and California University of Pennsylvania (MS, Athletic Training). In addition to her athletic training duties, Mozeleski also teaches several classes at Sem.
