Directions to Wyoming Seminary Fields

Carpenter Athletic Center (Basketball, Swimming,Wrestling)

From Interstate 80 take exit 284. Follow 115 North approximately 24 miles. Near Wilkes-Barre, 115 North becomes 309 North. Take exit 4 off 309.
From the Northeast Extension (Route 476) of the PA Turnpike take exit 105. Follow 115 North until it becomes 309 North. Take exit 4 off 309.
From Interstate 81, Exit 170B (former Exit 47B). Follow 115 North which becomes 309 North. Take exit 4 off 309
Stay in the left lane of the exit ramp and at the traffic light turn left onto Rutter Avenue. Continue on Rutter to the third traffic light (Pierce Street). Turn right onto Pierce and drive one block to the intersection of Pierce with Route 11 (also known as Wyoming Avenue). Turn left (south) on Route 11. At the third traffic light turn right onto Market Street. Go two blocks and turn right onto North Maple Avenue. The student center/CAC will be on your left.
Parking for the CAC is in the school lot on North Sprague Avenue.

Huntsville Golf Club, Lehman, Pa.

Local fans:
From Wilkes-Barre/Kingston: Take 309 North to the Dallas Shopping Center. 309 will veer off to the right at the light. Continue straight on to Route 415 North. Follow PA 118 West (left turn at traffic light at Turkey Hill Market). Stay on 118 West for 2 miles to Cook's General Store. Just before the store, make a sharp left onto Market Street. Follow for 1 mile to Huntsville Golf Club on left.

Out-of-town fans:

From Interstate 81, take Exit 170B (formerly "Exit 47B").
Follow 115 North, which becomes 309 North

Kirby Park, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. (Cross Country)

Local fans:
Kirby Park is on Market Street directly next to the Market Street Bridge that connects Wilkes-Barre and Kingston.

Out-of-town fans:

From Interstate 81, take Exit 170B (formerly "Exit 47B"):
Follow 115 North which becomes 309 North
Take Exit 3 off 309. Stay in the left lane of the exit ramp and at the traffic light turn left onto River Street. Continue on River to the intersection of River and Market Streets (the County Courthouse is on the opposite corner, and the Market Street Bridge is on the right). Turn right onto Market Street and go over the bridge; the entrance to Kirby Park is on the left directly after the bridge.

Klassner Field (Field Hockey and Lacrosse)

From exit 4 off 309:

Stay in the left lane of the exit ramp and at the traffic light turn left onto Rutter Avenue. Continue on Rutter to the second traffic light (Pierce Street). Turn right onto Pierce and drive one block to the intersection of Pierce with Route 11 (also known as Wyoming Avenue). Turn left (south) on Route 11. At the third traffic light turn right onto Market Street. Go two blocks and turn right onto North Maple Avenue. Klassner Field is on your left just before Bishop O’Reilly High School.
Team Bus may park at field.
Parking for fans for Klassner Field is available in the school parking lot on North Sprague Avenue.

Luzerne County Sports Complex

From Interstate 81, Exit onto Route 309 N toward Wilkes-Barre (Exit #170)
Take Route 309 north about 2.5 miles. Cross over the Susquehanna River; then exit immediately to the right (Exit #4 toward Forty Fort and Route 11). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right, then immediately bear right again onto Rutter Avenue, following signs to Route 11. Go one block to a stop sign. Turn left onto River Street (not marked).
Go 0.8 miles to the first traffic light. Bear right onto Wyoming Avenue (Route 11 North). Go north on Route 11 for about 1 mile to the double-set of traffic lights at Dennison Street. Notice a dark brick building on your right, just past the traffic lights (Pennsylvania State Police Training Center). Turn right immediately after this brick building and before an orange and white airplane hangar (also on your right). A small sign says "Luzerne County Sports Complex," marking the turn.
Go 0.3 mile to a stop sign, passing a set of soccer fields off to your left. Go another 0.4 mile, to a large parking lot on your right. Softball fields will be on your right.

Nesbitt Field, Kingston, Pa. (Football, Baseball, Tennis)

Local Fans:
From the corner of Pierce Street and Rutter Avenue - Kingston Post Office: Make left onto Route 11(Wyoming Avenue). Make the first right turn onto Pringle Street and then left onto the third street, Chestnut Street. Proceed one block. The cream-colored wall on your right surrounds Nesbitt Field. Park on Chestnut, or turn right onto Hoyt Street and park. The entrance to the field is on Hoyt.

From the Forty Fort Borough Building: Drive north on Wyoming Avenue 2.2 miles, passing the Wyoming Seminary Lower School. Turn left onto Shulde Street which is directly across from the Battle of Wyoming Monument (tall obelisk and cannon on your right). Turn left again almost immediately onto Sunset Drive. Bleachers and field are on your right. Park in grassy area under trees.

Turn left onto Shulde Street which is directly across from the Battle of Wyoming Monument (tall obelisk and cannon on your right). Turn left again almost immediately onto Sunset Drive. Bleachers and field are on your right. Park in grassy area under trees.

Plains Township Municipal Park (Softball)

Take the Cross Valley Expressway to exit 3 (Plains/Wilkes-Barre) (309 S)
Turn left off the exit on to South River Street
Continue on South River Street until you see Birchwood Landscaping on your right hand side
Take a right onto Courtright Street.
Take a left at the stop sign, go past the entrance to the Birchwood Complex and turn right onto Clark Lane
Go up over the hill past the pavilion
Fields are on your left

Take Exit 37 (Wyoming Valley) of the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike (Pittston Routes 81 & 315, between mile markers 94 and 95).
Take Route 315 South.
Turn Left at the 3rd Red Light (Dunkin' Donuts).
Turn Left in the Ice Box Skating Rink entrance (the sign is on the far left as you approach the Ice Box).

Zimmerman Field (Lower School Athletics)

Zimmerman Field is directly behind Wyoming Seminary Lower School in Forty Fort:

Take Exit 4 marked "Kingston/Forty Fort," on the Cross Valley Expressway (Rt. 309 North) stay in the right lane of the exit ramp through the yield sign, bearing right and following signs for Route 11 and River Street. At the stop sign, turn left onto River Street. As you near the intersection of River Street and Wyoming Avenue (Route 11), bear right through the stop light onto Wyoming Avenue (Route 11). Drive north on Wyoming Avenue (Route 11) 0.6 miles to the Wyoming Seminary Lower School. Just past the Lower School, make a left turn onto Arlington Road, and another left on Murray Street, and turn left into the rear entrance of the Lower School. Parking is available next to Zimmerman Field.
