Alumni News for April

Dear Alumni, Parents and Friends,

April already! The academic year seems to go even more quickly as an administrator than it ever did as a student! There are big events coming up in the next month, and we hope to see you there. Alumni Weekend is May 1 -3 for those who graduated in years ending in 0 and 5. The Blue Knight Bash happens on May 8, the one big parent fundraiser for faculty wish lists at both the Upper and Lower Schools. The Rusty Flack Open is May 18, and the field is already full, but we still have sponsorship opportunities. After grueling winter weather we are happy spring is here at Sem.

We love to hear from you so please send class notes to jstrzeletz@wyomingseminary.org.

The day will include the 5K, wellness fair, block party and brunch. The walk will begin at the Lower School at 10:00 a.m. and will end with the fair at the Upper School. Sem Bowl and Society Day

On Monday, May 6, Upper School students gathered to represent their societies and participate in the Sem Bowl. The Florentines overtook the Alexandrians in the final challenge to capture the win. Based on points accumulated throughout the year, the Florentine and Athenian societies are tied, followed by the Oxonians and then the Alexandrians. Like us on Facebook to see who will take home the glory on May 22 during Society Day.

Pictured above: Florentine society members SUKANYA ROY '15, ELIJAH MILLER '16, GRACE LEAHY '17 and DUNCAN LUMIA '18 deliberate their final answers before winning the Sem Bowl.
