| | March 13 deadline is approaching High school students interested in joining a production of the musical "Fame" during this summer's Performing Arts Institute (PAI) at Wyoming Seminary are invited to register for the 11th annual PAI Musical Theater Scholarship Competition. | | Sem Presents! "William Shakespeare's Long Lost First Play," by the Reduced Shakespeare Company, on Friday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kirby Center for Creative Arts. Described by the Washington Post as a "breathlessly irreverent and pun-filled romp, the show is a brilliant comedic mash-up of William Shakespeare's most well-known characters, lines, speeches and plots." | | The Wyoming Seminary Parents Association is sponsoring the screening of the thought-provoking documentary "Race to Nowhere" on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the KCCA. Faculty and parents of both the Upper School and Lower School are encouraged to attend. The documentary is intended to create dialogue about the cultural shifts pushing students to achieve, often at the expense of their overall well-being. For parents of seniors and postgraduates: It's not too soon to start thinking about Baccalaureate and Commencement, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 27-28. Parents may also choose to order Commencement announcements online before March 31 from Sem's communication office.

| | Model UN attends Ivy League Conference
The Model UN delegation recently attended the Ivy League Model United Nations Conference, one of the largest and most competitive conferences on the Eastern seaboard. Congratulations to juniors Ameen Bader and Thomas Weil who received awards for their work representing Malaysia on the UN Commission on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
