Parent Teacher Conferences

 

Grades 1 through 4 conferences will be held on Friday, April 28. Parents are asked to please schedule your conference online. 

Please read the following directions carefully.


1.) Click the following link: Spring Conferences

2.) Click the form for the teacher you want to schedule with.
3.) You may have to click the "pop-out" icon at the top of the page. (It is a small square with an arrow in the top right corner, located between the magnifying glass icon and the "X" icon on the top right side of your screen.)
4.) Once the screen is opened all the way, you may begin typing in it. You will note that there are a finite number of time slots. If there are no more times available or if you would like to schedule a different day/time to meet with your teacher, please contact them directly to make those arrangements.
5.) Please do not edit/change someone else's time slot.

Auction:

The Auction is open!  You can see all the donated items up for bid by clicking here. Catch a deal or make a memory. These deals are only available until Thursday night at 10:00 p.m. Don't miss out! 

 

Bash Reminder:

Last call for Bash tickets. See all the good your Parents Association does for your school. It will be a fun evening of dinner, dancing and open bar. It's not too late to join in the fun!

 

Raffle Tickets:

Last pick up of car line raffle tickets today. Please return our tickets for a chance to win $2,500.00. You do not need to be present to win.

 

Earth Day Activities

 

Dress Down and Tesla Visit
This Friday, April 21, will be our Earth Day dress-down day fundraiser to support Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge. Students wearing a shirt that says "Earth Day" may dress down for free; other students who dress down must wear green-themed t-shirt and pay $2. Earth Day is April 22. The Lower School Environmental Club encourages you to pledge to "become a green machine" by recycling right, using less, and caring for nature all of the time and in every place. Fitting with our Earth Day dress down, Bill Hinko '82 will return with Tesla cars on Friday, April 21, for students in grades 6-8.

Earth Day Themed STEM Saturday

This Saturday, April 22, is STEM Saturday at the Upper School for grades 7-12: Earth Day Station, Virtual Reality, and Math in Art! Please register if you wish to attend. Open to the community - bring a friend! Please e-mail Mr. Eidam or Mrs. Carrick if you have questions.

Fine Arts Fiesta Exhibit- 2017
Call for Entries

 

This year's Fine Arts Fiesta will be held on Public Square, Wilkes-Barre May 18,19, 20 & 21 Students in grades 5 through 8 are eligible to enter 2-D or 3-D original art works. Students will need to have works framed and ready for hanging or display. Pieces will be judged and selected for exhibit. The deadline for entries is Friday, April 22nd. Students should see Mrs. Warren for details and entry forms.

ERB Assessment Testing 

 

ERB assessment tests will be administered in March/April. All Lower School students in grades 3 through 7 will be taking the ERB tests online. Please click here for more information. Thank you.

Attention seventh grade students and parents: After school speech sessions will begin next week. They will run from 3:15-4:30 p.m. We strongly encourage you to attend as frequently as possible. The dates are as follows:

STEM Summer Program
 

Don't miss out on this summer camp opportunity! Be sure to register for the STEM Summer Camp. Students entering grades 6-9 are invited to be part of a series of week-long camps that will include new and fun experiences through engineering projects, and STEM-related activities. The camp will have a group dynamic, so your child can plan to come with a friend or make new ones.
