Parent Volunteers Needed
The Field Day planning committee is still in need of parent volunteers, if you are interested please use the following Sign Up Genius link: Volunteer Here!

Be a Sponsor!

Sponsorship is the primary source of fundraising for Field Day. Funds are used for items on the Lower School "wishlist" – educational equipment that provides our children every advantage to succeed. There are various levels of support and any donation is greatly appreciated. Donate Here!

Children's Raffle
The Raffle began in the Mural Room on Monday and will continue through Thursday. The raffle will then be moved outside for Field Day on Friday. Winners will be announced at the end of Field Day.

  • Tickets are $0.25 or 5 tickets for $1.00. The top ten items will be $1.00 a ticket.
  • Please print out address labels with your child's name on them. It is much easier for them to use the labels rather than writing their names on each ticket.

Screenagers

Thank you to all students and parents who were able to attend Screenagers on May 16. This insightful documentary, along with the reflection and discussion that followed afterward, seemed valuable to all. Therefore we plan to bring Screenagers back early in the fall to our middle school and high school students and teachers for viewing and follow-up discussion. In the meantime, given that summer provides more free time for screen activities, we wanted to share the Screenagers Parenting Guide to download and Tech Talk Tuesday topics. If you want to host a screening this summer, please contact Jill Carrick for a discount code.

Last Call for Wilkes-Barre Residents

Please complete and return this transportation request form for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. Please note that if you do not need transportation next year there is line marked "NO". Sordoni Library

Library Inventory
Please check lockers and backpacks, gym bags, under beds, or anywhere books might have been last seen. Notices will be sent home for any outstanding books. Please return all overdue books to the library book bin ASAP! The Sordoni Library will be closed from May 22-25 for inventory.

Eighth Grade Exams
The Sordoni Library will be closed from Monday, May 22 - Thursday, May 25 for Eighth Grade exams. The library printer and copier will not be available for student use during exam week. Overdue books may still be returned to the book bin located outside the library entrance.
