Primary Players Update
MANDATORY Full Cast Rehearsal: W-Th, November 8 & 9, 3:15-5:00 p.m.
PERFORMANCES: Friday, November 10 at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 11 at 1:00 p.m.
DVD ORDERS: If you are interested in purchasing a DVD copy of the performance, please fill out and send in this form. The cost per DVD is $5.00. All orders must be in by November 17. Thank you.

Original Works Extension
LAST CALL. Families should have received the Original Works packets with your child's art, or art paper for them to use at home. Primary students (K-4) had artwork included in their packet. The Pre-School and Middle School students had a blank piece of paper to do their artwork independently.

America Recycles Day
America Recycles Day is Wednesday, November 15. The Lower School Environmental Club invites you to join them in taking the pledge to Learn, Act, and Share by clicking here. During the week of November 13, learn more about recycling from posters created by the Environmental Club that are hanging in our school.
SEM Goes Shopping
Sem Goes Shopping is a wonderful annual holiday tradition at the Lower School. It is a time for students to get into the holiday spirit and do a little shopping on their own during the school day. This year "SGS" will run from Tuesday, December 5 through Thursday, December 7. The shop will be open from 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
The Parents Association is asking their fellow parents for donated NEW items that will be sold for $1-$10 at the Sem Goes Shopping Store. Multiples of an item would be greatly appreciated. Monetary donations or gift cards of any amount are also appreciated and can be sent into the office until November 30, 2017.
For those of you willing to assist us with this event, a sign-up genius document has been created and can be viewed at Sem Goes Shopping.

Holiday Gift Giving
Children & Youth Gift Project
Students in Grades 4 through 8 will be given the opportunity to provide a small gift to a less fortunate child. If participating, your student will select a child's name with a few gift ideas to take home to you next week. The gifts should not exceed $25.00 and should be returned to their homerooms by Tuesday, November 28. Gift wrapping is not required. Thank you in advance for your generosity. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
Tree Decorating
All Grades: We are once again decorating our school tree with hats, scarves, mittens and gloves. These items will be donated to children in need. Please send in your donations and we will add them to our tree throughout December. Thank you!

Gertrude Hawk Delivery Update
Thank you to all who participated in the Gertrude Hawk Fund Raiser. Orders will be shipped to the school on November 15. Orders will be sent home with the students on Thursday, November 16 and Friday, November 17. For those with large orders, distribution will be done in carline on Thursday and Friday. If you need to make alternate arrangements for pick up, please email Patricia Olsen at patrciaolsen9@yahoo.com.
On-line orders are being accepted through December 15. Remember the grade with the highest sales will win a DRESS DOWN DAY!!
