Geography Bee
Any Middle-School student who wishes to participate in the Geography Bee needs to sign up with Mr. Davis by Friday, December 4.
America Recycles Day
America Recycles Day is today, November 15. The Lower School Environmental Club invites you to join them in taking the pledge to Learn, Act, and Share by clicking here. During the week of November 13, learn more about recycling from posters created by the Environmental Club that are hanging in our school.
Sem Goes Shopping!
Sem Goes Shopping is a wonderful annual holiday tradition at the Lower School. It is a time for students to get into the holiday spirit and do a little shopping on their own during the school day. This year "SGS" will run from Tuesday, December 5 through Thursday, December 7. The shop will be open from 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
The Parents Association is asking their fellow parents to donate NEW items that will be sold for $1-$10 at the Sem Goes Shopping Store. Please open here for suggested items which may be helpful. Multiples of an item would be greatly appreciated. Monetary donations or gift cards of any amount are also appreciated and can be sent into the office until November 30, 2017.
For those of you willing to assist us with this event, a sign-up genius document has been created and can be viewed at Sem Goes Shopping.

Holiday Gift Giving
Children & Youth Gift Project
Has your student selected a child's name with a few gift ideas? Students in Grades 4 through 8 have been given the opportunity to provide a small gift to a less fortunate child. If participating, your student has selected a child's name and have been asked to provide a gift(s) not to exceed $25.00. The donated gift(s) should be returned to their homerooms by Tuesday, November 28. Gift wrapping is not required. Thank you in advance for your generosity. Tree Decorating
All Grades: We are once again decorating our school tree with hats, scarves, mittens and gloves. These items will be donated to children in need. Please send in your donations and we will add them to our tree throughout December. Thank you!

Recipes Wanted
The Wyoming Seminary Lower School's Parent Association is hoping to revive a successful past fundraiser - the WSLSPA Cookbook. We hope you will join us and the staff by submitting your favorite recipes for the cookbook. What better time to do it than while you have them out for the holidays? Thank you for your participation in this endeavor. The cookbooks will be available for sale in the Spring!

Gertrude Hawk Delivery Update
Thank you to all who participated in the Gertrude Hawk Fund Raiser. Orders will be sent home with the students tomorrow, November 16 and Friday, November 17. For those with large orders, distribution will be done in carline tomorrow and Friday. If you need to make alternate arrangements for pick up, please email Patricia Olsen at patrciaolsen9@yahoo.com.
On-line orders are being accepted through December 15. Remember the grade with the highest sales will win a DRESS DOWN DAY!!
