Founded in 1844, Wyoming Seminary is an independent co-educational college preparatory day and boarding school that enrolls 442 day and boarding students from 19 states and 17 countries in grades nine through 12, as well as a postgraduate year. Sem offers more than 140 courses and Advanced Placement courses in all major disciplines, preparing students for 22 AP subject exams, and in 2012 added the Louis Maslow STEM School to its curriculum. Sem's highly regarded performing arts program offers vocal and instrumental music, theater and dance and is housed in the state-of-the-art Kirby Center for Creative Arts on its Kingston campus.
Sem's outstanding college guidance staff works closely with students, beginning in the sophomore year, to help them identify and apply to the college or university that is best for them.
