Wyoming Seminary Admission

Welcome to Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School. Sem is about transforming lives and building relationships. We teach the language of thriving, of making the most of the challenges and the opportunities that the education process presents. Learning is more than just the attainment of knowledge. Learning is the experience-based acquisition of social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills that will lead one to not only excel in the world but to understand it and to have compassion for those around us.  

Sem is looking for bold, adventurous students with the confidence and the ability to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world. Your peers, your teachers and your coaches will help you develop your body and mind so that you can achieve your dreams. Everyone comes to Sem seeking a better education, but we want you to depart from Sem prepared to make the world a better place.  

We want as many students as possible to find real meaning in their lives while they are at Wyoming Seminary. Toward that end, we have designed a curriculum, a student life program, a creative arts program and an athletic program that focuses on developing excellence, independence and humanity in our students. We want our students to ask, “How are you related to me” to those around them.  The answer: “We are Sem.”
