Welcome Wyoming Seminary Alumni!
If you are in your 80s or 90s, do you remember
watching football games with many hundreds of people? All of Kingston
turned out for those games!
If
you are in your 60s or 70s, you will remember singing “Are Ye Able” in
daily chapel for the benefit of ailing Dr. Fleck. (It is a medical fact
that your singing lengthened his life by several years!).
If you are in your 50s and 60s, you hit your head diving into the swimming pool in the basement of Sprague Hall.
If you are in your 40s and 50s, your memories of Sem likely include the Flood of 1972 or its lasting effects on Sem’s campus.
A person in his 30s and 40s will recall sneaking off campus to enjoy a break at Sweet Treet.
The younger one is, the more he or she will remember Dave Davies and then Karen Klassner as Student Dean.
People in their 20s and 30s will recall Jere Packard’s copious and fulsome vocabulary.
And for recent alumni, classes and performances in the Great Hall are the basis of fond memories.
No
matter your age, it is likely that you are occasionally nostalgic about
Wyoming Seminary. The best way to satisfy those feelings is to stay in
touch with the school. If your address, phone number, or e-mail address
has changed, please let us know so that we can continue to send you the
Journal. We know that the Class Notes section of the Journal
is what everyone reads first, so please send us news and photographs
about your life.
The Alumni and
Development Office holds gatherings for alumni, parents and friends
throughout the year in various locations. If you would consider hosting
a gathering in your area, please contact our office.
Come
back to campus … perhaps your job or life accomplishments would be an
interesting topic for classroom discussion, guest lecture, or even
school assembly. Please contact our office if you would be interested
in participating in an alumni lecture series.

At
this point in time, your alma mater is in the middle of the information
highway. We have a Web presence, but we are not yet to the point where
we have a full-service, online community. As we add staff to our
information technology department, we hope to provide you with a
totally interactive online experience. But in the meantime, please
enjoy this alumni section!
