Wyoming Seminary has a tradition of academic and athletic excellence. The basketball program stresses the importance of working hard on and off the court as well as expecting players to handle themselves with dignity at all times. We play a competitive schedule that enables players to improve their basketball ability while taking a college-preparatory academic curriculum that prepares students for the rigors of college.

News and Notes
The 2011-2012 team was represented on local all-star teams by junior EJ Flippen and freshman Seth Callahan. Congratulations to both on their great seasons! In addition, senior Josh Lefkowitz participated in the Wyoming Valley Conference Senior All-Star Game, and senior San Hwang finished second in the WVC 3 point shooting contest.
Two former Blue Knight basketball players recently completed successful college basketball careers. Matt Swaback was a starter on the University of Scranton team, which made it all the way to the D-III Elite Eight, and senior Gary Robinson completed a successful career at Keystone College.
In addition, '08 gradute Max Saidman graduated from Muhlenberg College and is now working for the Hoop Group, which runs basketball camps and tournaments. One other former Blue Knight is currently starring on the basketball court. Mike Alvarado, who played for Sem from 2006 to 2008, is currently the starting point guard for D-I program Manhattan College.
