PAI Summer 2003

Nancy SandersonSummer is the season when serious young students of music, dance, and theater are free to immerse themselves in the arts; to learn and to grow, to practice and rehearse, to observe and participate. It is a time, as well, for these students to bond with peers and professionals who share their passion and support their goals – people who "speak the same language" on every level.

And it is precisely because a summer arts program can be so intense and exhilarating that it is important to choose the right program.

At the Performing Arts Institute (PAI) of Wyoming Seminary, we have worked hard to develop the kind of summer program in which students can nurture their talents and grow as human beings. The following pages describe the content of PAI’s program: its high-caliber teachers, its dedication to in-depth study, its performance schedule and its commitment to students. The spirit of PAI is as clearly expressed. We are a family, each member supporting the other and feeling proud of the other’s accomplishments.

I invite you to meet our family, examine our program and listen to the results. Our CD will allow you to hear the quality of PAI performing organizations. I hope that listening to us will provide you with the missing "piece of the puzzle" in making an informed decision about summer programs.

Warmest regards,

Nancy Sanderson
