16 Sem teams compete in the PIAA; Football competes in NEPSAC Class A Division; Ice Hockey competes in MPHL and is a NEPSAC affiliate; Rowing, Boys Wrestling and Girls Wrestling are Independent

SEM TRADITIONS

Dress-up days, once to twice monthly non-denominational chapels, and biweekly advisory meetings.

The Wyoming Seminary Motto is “Verum, Pulchrum, Bonum” which translates to “The True, The Beautiful, The Good.” This expresses the Sem spirit: a community who believes the truth that character matters; we emphasize the importance of respect for others who might look, think, and believe differently; we instill goodness with our actions to one another and within the larger global community. We stand for something, and we are proud of it. 

 

 

OUR CAMPUSES

The Upper School campus is located in Kingston, Pa. which includes 3 artificial turf fields, 3 dormitories, 5 academic buildings, and a number of on-campus residences and dormitory apartments for faculty and staff.

The Lower School campus is 2.5 miles away in Forty Fort.

Both campuses feature interactive classrooms where students can participate in STEM-driven projects and explore various topics of interest. Outdoor learning spaces are utilized for all grades. 

Kingston and Forty Fort are located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, 2 hours west of New York City, 2 hours north of Philadelphia, and within driving distance from Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Boston.
