Three Upper School students - Hannah Nguyen '28, Viktoria Rodnikova '27, and Maya Gross '26 - shared inspiring thoughts, confidence, and creativity at the annual Oratorical Contest, held in the Kirby Center for Creative Arts.
Maya was named the winner of the contest, but each of these young ladies demonstrated poise, critical thinking, and the art of public speaking on a topic of their choice.
Maya spoke on the courage to be bad at something. Hannah presented on languages, and Viktoria addressed why your mindset determines your success.
Sem has held the Oratorical Contest for more than 100 years. The annual competition tests students' abilities to research and argue an issue and put together a presentation.
