Wyoming Seminary's Academic Concentrations program challenges students to conduct purpose-driven research, pursue community engagement, and explore possible career paths outside the formal curriculum.
The Climate Science and Sustainability, Humanities and Global Studies, STEM/STEAM programs are rich in meaningful opportunities that complement Sem's core commitment to academic excellence, personal integrity, spiritual growth and community service. Key components in a student's journey within an Academic Concentration include regularly meeting with their Concentration Advisor and a panel of their peers to evaluate goals and progress while planning next steps; the development of a portfolio; and the presentation of a Capstone Project.
Students who successfully complete an Academic Concentration earn transcript designation and formal recognition at graduation.
