Step One: Submit Inquiry
If you haven’t already done so, please submit an inquiry form.
Step Two: How to Apply
Once you have submitted an inquiry form, please log in to the Sem Admission Portal to start/continue your application.
Step Three: School Records
Submit copies of your child’s last two years of report cards. You may drop off forms in the Admission Office, email forms to LSadmission@wyomingseminary.org or mail to Lower School Admission, Wyoming Seminary Lower School, 1560 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort, PA 18704.
Step Four: Visit Day
Schedule a visit day. Your child will be buddied with a student in their current grade to experience a day in the life of a Sem student. Please contact the Admission office at (570) 718-6611 or email LSadmission@wyomingseminary.org to schedule your appointment.
Step Five: Placement Screening

December 7, 2024: Test Day (Upper School will be the testing site for both campuses)
December 20, 2024: Priority Application and Financial Aid deadline (Rolling Admissions contingent upon space)
End of January 2025: Admission decisions released
March 17, 2025: Lower School enrollment contracts and forms due
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to submit a completed application before I visit and interview at Wyoming Seminary?
An application is required to complete the admission process, but does not need to be completed before visiting.
Here are the recommended steps:

- Submit application
- Upload past two years of grades to your Veracross Family Account
- Schedule Student Visit Day
- Take screening
What are the testing requirements?
- Traditional testing is an academic screening in math, reading and writing
- SSAT testing is required to be considered for a merit scholarship
What if I miss the deadline?
No worries! The priority round of applications for early decision are due by December 20, 2024, with enrollment decisions sent out by the end of January. A second round of applications will be accepted and considered for the 2025/2026 school year.
Are Lower School students eligible to apply for financial aid?

Visit Us
As part of the admission process, students in grades pre-kindergarten through seventh grade must complete a visit to the Lower School. Preschool and Toddler age students must complete social observation time in the classroom (parents are requested to stay with their toddler/preschooler). Spending a day at the Lower School provides an opportunity for us to get to know your child and for your child to get to know us!
