Sem’s Homecoming and Parents Weekend are combined this year into one fabulous weekend of alumni, student, and parent fun! We can't wait to see you on campus!

Parents Weekend Schedule

Friday, October 12

  • Parents Attend Class | 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Join your child in class and see what daily life is like at Wyoming Seminary.

  • Community Lunch | 12:00 pm in Fleck Hall: Enjoy lunch with the School community.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences | 12:30-4:30 p.m.: The deadline for scheduling is October 5. Questions? Please send an email to

  • Open Dance Rehearsal | 1:00-3:00 p.m. in KCCA: Sem actors and dancers rehearse fun and lively choreography for the fall musical.

  • Chamber Music Concert | 3:15 p.m. in the KCCA lobby: The music department will present a mini-concert highlighting different music.

  • College Guidance Meet and Greet | 4:00-5:00 p.m. in Sprague Hall: Never been through the college guidance process? Stop by for refreshments and meet the college guidance team and current parents who can share their college admission experiences.

  • Cocktails with the Dean | 5:00 p.m. in KCCA: Parents are invited for refreshments and a light buffet hosted by the Wyoming Seminary Upper School Parents Association to meet the new Upper School Dean Tom Morris.

  • Community Dinner | 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Back Campus: Everyone is invited to a casual community dinner under the tent on back campus.

  • Robert Channing: Mind Reader | 8:00 p.m. in KCCA: Join us for an exciting, entertaining and mind-boggling show.

Saturday, October 13

  • Meeting for Parents of Boarders | 7:45 a.m. in Kirby Library: Parents are invited to the library for refreshments followed by a session from the Class Deans and College Guidance. Attendees should request Parent-Teacher conferences after 9:00 a.m.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences | 8:00-11:00 a.m.: The deadline for scheduling is October 5. Questions? Please send an email to

  • Community Lunch | 12:00-1:00 p.m. outside of Carpenter Athletic Center: Join students, parents, teachers and alumni for a picnic lunch.

  • Girls Wrestling Inter-squad Showcase | 1:00 p.m. in the Carpenter Athletic Center: Check out the girls wrestling team as they show off their skills on the mat before heading to the big game.

  • Varsity Football | 2:00 pm at Nesbitt Stadium: Cheer on the Blue Knights Football team as they compete against The Kiski School.

  • Post-Game Tailgate | 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Back Campus: Join President Rea, faculty, former faculty and friends for drinks and conversation following the football game on Back Campus.

Sunday, October 14

  • Little Known Secrets About Paying For College | 9:00-11:00 a.m. in Stettler Learning Resource Center: Bradley Wood, professional financial planner with The College Funding Coach, will host a special presentation for Wyoming Seminary about financing a college education from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Join us before the presentation for coffee and refreshments from 8:30-9:00 a.m.
