Baseball
Overview
Baseball is the original sport of Wyoming Seminary, first played in 1866, and throughout generations, Sem baseball teams have embodied the dedication, heart and game knowledge that define the sport.
Wyoming Seminary has regularly competed near the top of the Wyoming Valley Conference and PIAA District 2. Among the Blue Knights' most recent successful seasons was a 2019 campaign in which they earned second place in District 2 Class 3A and then advanced to the PIAA state quarterfinals.
Sem's commitment to academic excellence extends to the baseball diamond, where student-athletes balance their academic and athletic responsibilities.
The hallmark of Sem baseball is a camaraderie among players.
Members of the Sem baseball team form close bonds and friendships that extend far beyond their time at Nesbitt Memorial Stadium.
