Sportsmanship and integrity are fundamental values within the Wyoming Seminary golf program. Our players are not only ambassadors for Sem, but also for the sport, carrying a gracious and ambitious attitude on and off the course.

The tradition of golf at Wyoming Seminary runs deep.

The Blue Knights won their first championship of any kind in 1978. Success has followed in the years since, including eight Wyoming Valley Conference divisional championships in the past 25 years. Sem is also a three-time District 2 champion (1996, '97, '00). The Blue Knights in 2023 had a 10-2 record.

The 2023 season was capped off in historic fashion with Nick Werner '25 winning the first golf state championship ever for Wyoming Seminary. Werner placed first at the District 2 and PIAA Class 2A championships. His teammate, Anna Zapletalova '25, also earned a district title and placed fourth at states.The Sem golf team has access to top-notch practice and event facilities, including Huntsville Golf Club, our meticulously maintained home course.

Being part of the Sem golf team means more than just athletic development; it is a platform for personal growth, character building and lifelong friendships and lessons, such as adaptability, focus and patience.
