Wrestling - Boys
Overview

The Wyoming Seminary boys wrestling program is among the nation's top high school or prep programs of any sport, often producing state and national champions and NCAA Division I student-athletes.
The Blue Knights have won eight national championships, dating as far back as 1937, '47, '48 and '52. More recently, Sem earned the title in 2014, '20, '22 and '24 at the National Prep Wrestling Championships. Sem also won an incredible 15 consecutive state championships from 2007 to 2022 at the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Wrestling Tournament (PAISWT).
Sem produced four individual national champions — each of whom was an underclassman (Davis Motyka, Luke Lilledahl, Joe Sealey, Jude Correa) — in the 2022-23 season. The Blue Knights then had an even more dominant showing in 2023-24, winning 10 individual national titles. Motyka, Lilledahl, Sealey and Correa repeated as champions while being joined atop the podium by Shamus Regan, Nate Desmond, Jake Dailey, Anthony Evanitsky, Matthew Botello and Vince Bouzakis. In the 2024-25 season, Sem finished with two national champions – Matthew Botello and Jude Correa.
In addition to their success at the local, state and national levels, many Wyoming Seminary wrestlers have competed on the international stage and emerged as top contenders and champions in countries across the world.
What sets Wyoming Seminary wrestling apart is not just its success on the mat, but the hard work that goes into creating those victories. From intense conditioning drills to technical workshops, every aspect of training is geared toward honing a wrestler's abilities and sharpening their edge in the competitive arena.
Beyond the competition, Wyoming Seminary wrestling is a family. The friendships forged and victories celebrated while at Sem last a lifetime.
