Wyoming Seminary is a trailblazer in the sport of girls wrestling. It also has an unrivaled track record of success at the high school and prep level.
Wyoming Seminary first offered girls wrestling in 2017, at which point Sem became the first high school girls wrestling team in the state of Pennsylvania. In the years since, Wyoming Seminary has won multiple tournaments at the national and international stages.
Sem has won three titles (2020, '23, '24) at the National Prep Wrestling Championships and has produced numerous collegiate wrestlers.
The Sem girls wrestling program offers world-class coaching, evidenced by the success our wrestlers have achieved all around the world.
We believe that academic excellence and athletic prowess go hand-in-hand and the Wyoming Seminary girls wrestling program is an example of the greatness that could be achieved in both pursuits. Balancing the demands of wrestling and college preparatory curriculum is a challenge, but we approach that challenge together. Coaches, teammates and other members of the Sem support network are committed to ensuring student-athletes have the resources and strategies needed to excel academically and athletically.
On the strength of eight finalists and five champions, the Wyoming Seminary girls wrestling team won the team title at the 2024 National Prep Wrestling Championships.
