Second grade airplane project

The second-grade scientists are beginning a study of birds. We made our own paper planes of various sizes and tested them. Students compared the distances flown by each plane, and discussed plane materials and wig span. The conversation will continue when we research the utility of feathers and wing span on birds in relation to flight.
