Second grade studies vision and taste

Dr. Jennifer Thomas, Associate Professor of Psychology at Wilkes University, and Dr. Ellen Newell, Associate Professor of Psychology at Wilkes University, along with Wilkes University students Taylor Barletta, Keira D’Augostino, and Amaris Ward visited Sem's second grade class. Second graders engaged in hands-on experiments and data collection specifically targeting a greater understanding of how human brains function. The children enjoyed learning how the brain can be "fooled" as it processes information using the senses of vision and taste.
