Party Bots at Lower School

Seventh-graders in Jill Carrick's science classes shared their skills in coding with students in primary grades earlier on Tuesday, Feb. 25. The seventh-graders built "party bots" or small robots made with LEGO pieces and coded to perform tricks when prompted with sound and touch. Then they invited primary classes to the STEM classroom in the library to demonstrate the tricks their robots could perform. This annual activity helps the younger students learn about robots and how to program them. Creativity and coding, all in one fun package!
