Summer at Sem Open House and FREE Concert Event
Kirby Center For Creative Arts

Wyoming Seminary's Summer at Sem program is planning an exciting 2022 Season and is hosting an Open House and Performance Event on Saturday, January 8 to introduce this summer's offerings.

The Open House and masterclasses will begin at 1 pm. The performance event will directly follow at 3:30 pm at the Kirby Center for Creative Arts, 260 North Sprague Avenue, Kingston. Both events are free and open to the public.

Join us on January 8th when we share news and updates about the full return of in-person theatre and dance, summer performances, 2022 summer Broadway guest artists, and the summer's full musical The Fantasticks!

Guests will have an opportunity to meet Summer at Sem's Creative Arts program directors, including Jeremiah Downes, director of theatre, and Tim Early, director of dance, along with our summer faculty and staff.

Free masterclasses will also be offered for students ages 12-18, by theatre and dance faculty and our Open House Broadway guest artists and professional dancers.

Guests are also invited to enjoy a free theatre and dance performance at 3:30 pm, which will include appearances by Madge Dietrich (2019 Broadway Guest Artist, Broadway's Kinky Boots); Stearns Matthews (critically acclaimed NYC Cabaret Artist, recording artist, and Multi-MAC/Bistro Award winner); and Evan Gallagher-Frace (Summer at Sem/PAI alum, 2020 Broadway Guest Artist, NYC vocalist/nightclub entertainer) along with Tim Early, Rick Callendar (Brandywine Ballet Professional Dancer) and Summer at Sem dance alumni Halle Marquette and Emily Heffner.
