Sem Players present "Urinetown"

Image

A 20-year drought in an unnamed large city means the jokes were not watered down in the Wyoming Seminary Players' recent production of the hilarious Broadway hit satire "Urinetown the Musical." Directed by JASON SHERRY '91, the show tells the story of a local businessman who sees an opportunity to make money by opening pay-per-view public bathrooms. Poor patrons who cannot afford to pay for using the facilities are dragged off to "Urinetown," although no one really knows where or what that is. A public bathroom employee, upset by what he is seeing, starts a revolt. Terrific performances, catchy tunes and show-stopping dance numbers made this production a must-see! Thanks to Ellen O'Brien Sherry for these engaging photos.
