Valentine's Day We will be celebrating Valentine's Day on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Primary teachers have been in touch with parents about parties. Middle-School pizza parties will be at lunch that day.

Parent workshop on college expenses coming to LS Sem's College Guidance Office invites all Lower School parents to attend an informative workshop titled "Little-Known Secrets of Paying For College," to be held on Saturday, March 17 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Lower School's Sordoni Library. Bradley W. Wood from The College Funding Coach, a non-profit organization that assists parents with financial planning, will present the workshop. He will discuss effective ways to simultaneously save and pay for college, how to recapture out-of-pocket college costs, and many other strategies. Re-Enrollment Information As you know, re-enrollment information was recently sent to all Lower School families. Please log into your MySem account to access these important documents. Families are asked to complete the Enrollment Agreement and the Information Verification Form and submit them along with the appropriate enrollment deposit no later than February 16, 2018. We currently have waiting lists for a number of grades. We will begin admitting students from the waiting list on February 19, 2018. We look forward to welcoming you back next year so please remain aware of this deadline. Please contact Tiffany Maakestad (tmaakestad@wyomingseminary.org) in the admissions office with any questions.
Get your Earth Day Shirts Here - New Styles! The Lower School Environmental Club will be sponsoring an Earth Day dress-down day fundraiser to support North Branch Land Trust and Blue Chip Animal Refuge this year. Earth Day shirt orders must be in by Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Students can order a 2018 Earth Day shirt with "Sem Earth Day 2018" personalization by printing and completing this order form and then dress down for free on April 20 or, for a $2.00 donation, Lower School students can dress down on April 20 wearing either a different Earth Day labelled shirt or green themed t-shirt. Note that this year an Earth Day mug is also included on the order form. Please return your completed order form with payment to Mrs. Carrick no later than Tuesday, February 20, 2018. *Hard copy order forms are also available in the main office.

Pennies for Patients The Pennies for Patients program sponsored by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is in full swing again this year. Your children should have received their own coin box for collecting change, dollars, and checks (made out to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). Spare change can turn up anywhere and your child can make a difference just by collecting it. Thanks to you and your child in advance for helping LLS create a world without blood cancers. The drive will end on Wednesday, February 21, with all boxes being collected on that date. Any questions can be directed to Mr. Plaksa, Lower School Coordinator, at (570-718-6604).
