MLK DAY PROJECT INSPIRES GRADES 1 AND 7 On Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, first- and seventh-grade students joined forces to celebrate this American hero and proclaim what our dreams are for the future. Mrs. Federici's first-grade class joined with Mrs. Barilla's seventh-period seventh-grade class, and Mrs. Lepore's class teamed with Mrs. Barilla's fourth-period English students. The students came together in pairs to read about Dr. Martin Luther King and answer questions about his life. Then they created a bulletin board with their dreams for our world. It was a fun learning experience for all!
