HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Dear Parents,
The Symptom Tracker must be completed daily before school. If you are having trouble logging on, be sure you are logged out of all other Google accounts and login with the student's credentials. Student credentials are located in the parent portal under "my reports". Please follow the PA Department of Health, CDC and Wyoming Seminary protocols when participating in after school or weekend activities. This includes mask-wearing, social distancing, limited social gatherings, and hand hygiene. If a student has had contact with someone who has had Covid, or if a student or family member has been diagnosed with Covid-19, please contact our Health Office at (570) 718-6615. I am so happy to see the children back in school and I'm always available if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you, Carol Kollar RN BSN Wyoming Seminary Lower School Nurse (570) 718-6615
Please be sure to review the communication "Back-To-School Policies" which was released on January 17 regarding our most recent safety protocols. These replace earlier guidelines and address Spring Break travel. Don't hesitate to contact Dr. Hanlon with any questions.

Jenny Kotowski INCLEMENT WEATHER As winter weather continues, please review the following regarding inclement weather: If Wyoming Seminary delays, closes, or cancels classes, it will be announced via the emergency text messaging system as well as on local media. We will make any decisions regarding weather closures and communicate them in as timely a manner as possible.
Delayed Opening: If Wyoming Seminary is opening on time and your school district is on a delayed opening schedule, your student will be permitted to arrive in accordance with your district's announced time, whether your student rides the bus or is driven to school. School Closing: If Wyoming Seminary is open and your school district closes, your student will not be expected in school. If you wish to transport your student in this situation, please do so at your own discretion and with caution.
Early Dismissal: If we are in school and are contacted by a school district about an early dismissal, parents of children who ride the bus may expect their students to be dismissed when that bus arrives. Students who do not ride the bus but whose district is closing early may be picked up at the early dismissal time.
Please note that, by definition, early dismissal days are hectic. To the extent that any non-essential calls to the office can be minimized, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for adhering to the choice made on the early dismissal form unless there is an emergency. It is extremely difficult to amend plans during the chaos of an early dismissal - thanks for your cooperation! Early Dismissal Form: Please verify that the early dismissal form you completed for the 2020-21 school year is still valid. If you need to make changes or have any questions please call the office at (570) 718-6600. Our students' safety is our main concern during bad weather. As always, please check our homepage often and sign up for text alerts for weather-related announcements. 1560 Wyoming Avenue • Forty Fort, PA 18704 • 570-718-6600 |
