MIDDLE SCHOOL GRADEBOOKS
Please note that in order to allow our teachers to finalize grades, gradebooks will be closed until the beginning of the Spring trimester. Have a wonderful break!
HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Dear SEM Families,
Students, faculty and staff traveling outside of northeastern Pennsylvania for leisure, sporting events or social activities should undertake a 10-day quarantine following their return to Northeast PA. If a negative PCR COVID-19 test is obtained a minimum of 72 hours after arrival in Northeast PA, this quarantine can be reduced to four days (including the 72 hours) and you can return to school/work on day 5. According to the CDC, travel increases your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19. If travel is necessary, please continue the mitigation measures of mask-wearing, social distancing and hand hygiene. High-risk activities including large gatherings, sleepovers, unmasked indoor activities with people living outside your home, or club sport events are discouraged during spring break. If a student, faculty or staff member deems it necessary to participate in any of these activities please follow the travel information above, including 10-day quarantine or a negative PCR COVID-19 test 72 hours following the event, day 4, and return to school/work on day 5.. If a student, faculty or staff member tests positive during spring break or is identified as a direct contact to a positive COVID-19 person, please notify Carol Kollar, (570) 718-6649, in the health center before returning to school. There may be some necessary medical documentation to clear a person to return to school following a positive test or exposure. Spring break is nearly here. I hope you relax, enjoy the time off and come back refreshed and healthy!
