HALLOWEEN DRESS DOWN - October 29 We will celebrate Halloween on Friday, October 29th. Like last year, we will have a school-wide orange and black dress down day. Students will also enjoy in-class celebrations as well as Middle School pizza parties during lunch. Hopefully, costumes will return next year. Until then, we will make sure it is a spooktacular celebration! HOLIDAY CONCERTS/CALENDAR CHANGES We are excitedly planning holiday concerts this year. In order to allow for social distancing, we will spread the concerts out over 3 evenings. Please make note of the following concert dates and times - more details to follow! Middle School Band Concert Thursday December 9 6:00 p.m.
Middle School Chorus Concert Tuesday December 14 6:00 p.m.
Primary Chorus Concert Thursday December 16 6:00 p.m.
As a result of the above, there will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, December 17, 2021 (T-Grade 8). Holiday Recess will begin after the December 16th Primary Chorus Concert.
Friday, February 4, 2022 is now a NOON dismissal (T-Grade 8).

We wanted to let you know that as part of our work in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, Wyoming Seminary will be administering the Assessment of Inclusivity and Multiculturalism (AIM) in late January/ early February. More information about this survey can be found on the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) website. We have included a short excerpt / description below: The AIM Online Climate Survey engages your community in a confidential analysis designed to elicit feedback on school climate and culture. Members of all constituent groups are given access to the online survey, and upon completion, the school receives summarized results. These results come in an easy-to-digest format the school can put to use in strategic planning and in follow-up training and programming. We have established a steering committee of both Lower and Upper School personnel. This group will organize and direct the survey administration as well as review the responses and determine the next steps. Please be in touch with any questions. We look forward to your participation in the survey. ~ Kathy Hanlon and Rachel Bartron Lower School Book Fair - November 1 Scholastic Book Fair 2021 will take place November 1st through November 5th in the Sordoni Library. Kindergarten learned all about honey bees when Hannah Burgess, of The Beekeepers Daughter, came to visit their class. They learned about types of honey bees and their job in the hive. She brought a few trays from a hive so the students could get up close and personal with these busy little insects. The students even got to have a special snack that included flavored honey sticks. • If you travel, please have your child tested for Covid-19 upon return, as a negative result is required for return to school.
• Please have your child continue to wear a mask, social distance and maintain good hand hygiene during after school activities.
• If your child has a sore throat, fever, nasal congestion, cough, fatigue, body aches, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, follow-up with the pediatrician and get tested for Covid-19.
• Please do not send your child to school sick. Even if their illness is not Covid-related, sick and symptomatic children should not be in school.
