Thank you very much to everyone who helped provide water and food for our friends, students at the displaced Namoungou School in Burkina Faso, in partnership with the BARKA Foundation! Through our Virtual Walk/Ride for Water registrations and donations and our Earth Day Dress Down on both campuses, we raised over $4000! Check out these Walk/Ride for Water 2022 photos! Thank you very much to all who participated and supported this nature/local/global community event!
Our middle school students ran a relay race with 1 gallon, 8.35 pounds of water. In Burkina Faso, without plumbing children and women walk several kilometers carrying 5 gallons or over 44 pounds of water, similar to the amount of water in the older model fireman's water pack that Mr. Eidam brought to middle school lunch recess. Check out photos and a video here. | | | | Creative, Cooperative Play Enrichment Just Play!
