| FARM DAY
Farm Day is a PreK favorite. Our young farmers have chores to do like mucking the stalls, mending the fences, planting, making butter, gathering eggs from the hen house, and milking the cow. Farm games and songs, a picnic, and relay races round out the activities. We had a perfect day! |

| ALL SCHOOL READ ANNOUNCED
Wyoming Seminary is thrilled to announce a new initiative: the All-School Read (ASR), an opportunity for our school and community – students (grades 7-PG), faculty & staff, parents, and alumni – to read and discuss one text built around a central theme. This year's theme is Belonging. Our goal is to choose a text that will be interesting and appropriate for the wide range of readers, to fit with our topic, to help encapsulate Sem's mission, motto, and core values, and to challenge how we view and think about human issues as a collective community. Our purpose is to use the All-School Read to explore and discover unity and strength together through shared stories and common conversations. With that in mind, this year's selection is Goodbye Days, by Jeff Zentner, a heart-breaking and sometimes humorous look at Carver Briggs, the teenage boy whose life spins out of control after the death of his best friends. In accordance with this year's theme of belonging, the novel also examines the complex realities of life, especially personal responsibility, fractured relationships, and finding one's place – all over again – in the world. |
