The Wyoming Seminary Leadership Cabinet, together with the Sem Athletic Department, has announced that Cornell Robinson has been named the Head Boys Wrestling Coach for the Blue Knights. Coach Robinson brings a decorated wrestling background as a coach at the high school and international levels, including the Junior World Team in 2012 and Cadet Pan Am Team in 2013.

The Wyoming Seminary Leadership Cabinet, together with the Sem Athletic Department, has announced that Cornell Robinson has been named the Head Boys Wrestling Coach for the Blue Knights.

Coach Robinson brings a decorated wrestling background as a coach at the high school and international levels, including the Junior World Team in 2012 and Cadet Pan Am Team in 2013.

Since 2014, he has served as Head Coach at Christian Brothers College High School, a preparatory school in St. Louis, Missouri. He also held head coaching duties at Timberland High School (2008-2014) and Parkway North High School (2004-2005).

Aside from wrestling, Coach Robinson has coached high school and college football, including Cheyney University, an NCAA Division II program. 

Coach Robinson is a 2001 graduate of Evangel University with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education. He played football at Evangel, earning All American honors in 2000. He earned a Master's Degree in Education from Lindenwood University in 2007.

A resident of O’Fallon, Mo., Coach Robinson has been a physical education and health teacher at Wentzville Middle School since 2005. 

“Coach Cornell Robinson comes to us with a long history of being an educator, coach and high-level wrestling coach,” said Kevin Burke, Associate Director of Athletics at Sem. “His experience with building programs, finding and developing athletes to the elite levels, and his ability and eagerness to work with others put him at the top of an extremely strong candidate pool.”
